The Department of Management Sciences in School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), seeks candidates for faculty positions in all areas of Management Science (including but not limited to: OR/MS, Finance Engineering, Analytics, Interface with Marketing, Finance/Accounting, etc.), starting in 2015. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and a demonstrated capability for research excellence. Rank is open for all levels: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors.

Department representatives will interview candidates at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in San Francisco. To ensure full consideration, applications should be received by November 1, 2014, but later applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.

Application Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A doctoral degree is required, which was obtained in a world-renowned university; if the PhD degree was from China, over 1-2 years overseas research experience is required.
2. The applicant must have outstanding research performance, and have the potential to publish papers in A+ level Journals.
3. For junior position, it’s research-focused. No teaching load is required in the first 3 years. For senior position, the annual teaching load is 1.5 courses.

1. For junior position, we provide competitive annual salary among the C9 (Top 9) universities of China is >300,000 RMB depending on the applicants’ performance. For senior position, we provide relatively comparable salary to your previous job.
2. Arrangements will be made for children of the applicant to enter preschool (the best public preschool in Anhui Province), primary school, secondary school and high school (top ranking in Hefei city) affiliated to USTC.
